Entered from a suburban cul de sac, this home backs up to a protected wooded wetland. The main living spaces all open to take advantage of the views and access to the woods. A very open plan, the house is designed for entertaining large groups while maintaining a warm, intimate feel through the use of natural materials and defining large spaces into smaller areas by offsetting walls and furniture arrangement. This home was featured in the Chicago Tribune Magazine, April, 2006.
